BYU private kindergarten accepting applications

The Brigham Young University Child and Family Studies Laboratory is now accepting applications for the 2003-2004 private kindergarten program.

The cost of tuition for the academic year is $2,500. Each session will enroll only 20 students.

Applications will be accepted until the classes are full and are available in room M128 of B77 Service Building (the former UVSC building on Canyon Road west of Helaman Halls) or by calling (801) 378-3219.

Any child who turns five by September 1 is eligible for the kindergarten program.

Kindergarten assessment will begin August 20 with all children starting school September 2.

The morning session is from 8:20 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:20 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. on Friday, early-out day.

The afternoon session is from 12:20 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 12:20 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. on Friday, early-out day.
