BYU Philharmonic Orchestra in concert Nov. 20

The Brigham Young University School of Music presents the Philharmonic Orchestra in concert Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets at $9 with $3 off with a BYU or student ID are available through the Fine Arts Ticket Office, (801) 378-4322 or at www.byu.edu/hfac.

The performance, conducted by Kory Katseanes, will feature Hector Berlioz' "Corsair" Overture as well as the Symphony No. 6, the "Pastoral," by Beethoven. The program will conclude with Respighi's "Pines of Rome."

"In spite of being one of the most loved works in the orchestral literature, this thrilling piece by Respighi hasn't been performed by a BYU orchestra in more than 15 years," Katseanes said.

For more information about the Philharmonic Orchestra, contact Kory Katseanes at (801) 422-3331.
