Brigham Young University Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer Kelly Flanagan has named Nathan Hatch as the new assistant vice president of Information Technology responsible for directing the work of the Office of Information Technology (OIT).

"OIT strives to provide legendary IT services to our campus community," Flanagan said. "To further elevate that service, OIT needs an experienced IT leader, and Nathan Hatch is that person. Everywhere that he contributes things get better and I'm looking forward to having that happen here."
Hatch began his role as assistant vice president of Information Technology on April 3.
Hatch is a seasoned executive leader with over 20 years of IT experience. He most recently served as the portfolio director of Enterprise Application Management in the Information and Communication Services (ICS) department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, responsible for the software development and delivery of enterprise applications and cloud services across the departments of the Church. Before joining ICS, Hatch held numerous executive IT positions including CEO and Executive Chairman of C7 Data Centers, Senior Vice President of Helius Inc., vice president roles at Lineo and Caldera and senior management roles at Novell.
Hatch holds a bachelor's degree in business management with a master's degree in organizational management. He's also a regular lecturer and presenter in business and technology classes at BYU and Utah Valley University.
