BYU to offer high school French Camp June 9-25

For high school students excited about learning to speak French, the Division of Continuing Education offers the Brigham Young University French Camp every summer. The camp is a great opportunity to earn high school credit, improve language skills and meet other students with a passion for French.

This year’s camp will take place Monday through Friday, June 9-25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The program offers an intensive, three-week French language learning experience for mature, highly motivated high school students, ages 14-18, who have studied one year of French or the equivalent. Students who complete the program will receive one credit (the equivalent of one year) of intermediate or advanced French through BYU Independent Study.

On-campus housing is available, with additional weekend activities included. Day-only tuition is $600 and overnight tuition is $1,620. Financial aid is available.

Potential participants who want to apply should contact byufrenchcamp@byu.edu or call (801) 422-6701. For more information and an application, visit ce.byu.edu/cw/french.
