Dennis S. Sears, senior law librarian at Brigham Young University's Howard W. Hunter Law Library, was recently elected chair of the Foreign, Comparative and International Special Interest Section of the American Association of Law Libraries.
This special interest section consists of more than 400 law librarians from academic, law firm, government and corporate law libraries with responsibilities for foreign and international research in their respective organizations.
"These law librarians come from across the country and more than a dozen foreign countries," said Sears. "The purpose of the special interest section is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information in foreign, comparative and international law."
Sears received both Juris Doctor and master of business administration degrees from BYU in 1985.
