BYU Internship Showcase at WSC Ballroom March 16

The Ninth Annual Brigham Young University Internship Showcase will take place Friday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Wilkinson Center Ballroom.

All students and faculty are invited to stop by to learn about internship opportunities in their field of study, enjoy a snack and view the variety of student displays of recently completed internships.

Student participants represent departments across the university and will be displaying artifacts and information collected from their experiences with NY1 News, Microsoft, American Cancer Society, National Defense University and more. Displays will also  represent international internships in Cambodia, Russia, Nepal, China, Tanzania, South Africa, India, Switzerland, Uganda, Japan and Taiwan.

Students will compete for up to $500 in prizes, and winners will be selected in several categories, including most creative display, most informative display, most interactive display, most unique internship, most influential or impactful internship and most motivational internship

“We hope that the Internship Showcase will motivate more students to choose to complete an internship, even if their major does not require one for graduation,” said Kristine Hansen, director of internships.

For more information about internships, contact your department internship coordinator or the Internship Office, saas.byu.edu/intern/ or 801-422-3337.
