BYU hosts free screening of "My Cousin Rachel" March 9

On Friday, March 9, the Brigham Young University Motion Picture Archive Film Series will host a screening of “My Cousin Rachel” at 7 p.m. in the Harold B. Lee Library Auditorium.

The event is free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie runs for 98 minutes.

The 1952 mystery-romance, based on a novel by British author Daphne du Maurier, stars Olivia de Havilland, Richard Burton, John Sutton and Audrey Dalton. Director Henry Koster facilitated this 1953 American film debut of Welsh actor Richard Burton.

Koster donated his large collection of scripts, scrapbooks and films to BYU’s L. Tom Perry Special Collections in the 1980s.
