BYU hosts Family History Fireside Nov. 12

The director of Records and Information Division for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 for the 2004 Brigham Young University Family History Fireside in 3228 Wilkinson Student Center on campus.

David E. Rencher will speak on the theme, "Faith and Finding." Along with his responsibilities with the Church of Jesus Christ, he also serves as the vice-president of the Genealogical Society of Utah, and was the president of the Federation of Genealogical Societies from 1997 to 2000.

Rencher became a professional genealogist in 1977. He graduated from BYU in 1980 with a bachelors of arts degree in family and local history.
