BYU hosts Career Fair Jan. 27

Brigham Young University’s general Career Fair will be held Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom and Garden Court.

More than 100 companies will attend the fair to recruit BYU students for full-time positions and internships. Companies will include national companies like Goldman Sachs, Allstate Insurance, Kraft Foods, Buckle, Smucker’s and Walgreens. There will also be local companies like Zions Bank, DISH Network and Intermountain Financial Group.

There will be companies from all different types of disciplines, including engineering, communications, arts, health, medical, business, sales and government.

All companies that are attending are registered online at ccc.byu.edu/career-fair-main-page. Students are expected to research companies they are interested in beforehand and come in business dress with copies of their resumes.

Career workshops are taught in University Career Services every week to prepare students for the Career Fair. Classes will highlight resume and cover letter writing, interview prep and networking.
