BYU hosts annual Gerontology Health Conference March 10

The 18th Annual Russell B. Clark Gerontology Health Conference will be held in the Brigham Young University Conference Center on Monday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Seven speakers will address issues in gerontology including music therapy, visitations, generations working together, elder abuse from a legal perspective and skin health care and cancer prevention.

Medical doctors Chase Nebeker Peterson and John P. Kane will be the keynote speakers. Peterson will speak on care of the elderly followed by Kane who will address genes and hearth health with a special emphasis on women’s heart health.

Lunch will be provided, and there is no registration or fee to attend the conference. Free parking will be available west of the Conference Center and Harmon Building.
