BYU hosts 9th annual Family Expo April 1-2

Brigham Young University will host the ninth annual Family Expo Thursday and Friday, April 1-2, at the BYU Conference Center on campus.

The Expo, "With Joy Wend Your Way," is designed to strengthen families and to teach parents how to raise a righteous family.

Speakers--including Truman G. and Ann N. Madsen, Randy L. Bott, Wendy L. Watson, Brent L. Top, Bruce A. Chadwick and Ardeth Kapp--will discuss topics such as temple and family, keeping an eternal perspective in marriage, family communication, conflict resolution and proper discipline for children.

The expo will last each day from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a lunch break from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Individual registration for the conference is $70 and registration for credit is $150. Married-couple registration is $105 and is available only by calling (801) 378-8925. Free registration may be available for BYU full-time personnel and their spouses.

The expo is sponsored by BYU Religious Education, the Alumni Association, KBYU, Continuing Education and the College of Family, Home and Social Sciences.
