BYU to host International Law and Religion Symposium Oct. 3-5

The Catholic University of America and Brigham Young University will host the International Law and Religion Symposium Oct. 3 through Oct. 5 on BYU campus.

Continuing with a tradition that is now entering its 11th year, the BYU Law School will focus its conference on "Religion in the Public Sphere: Challenges and Opportunities."

Leading government officials from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Pacific and North and South America will participate in the conference.

Other sponsors of the conference include the J. Reuben Clark Law School, the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies of BYU, the Global Management Center, the Marriott School of Management of BYU, in conjunction with The International Academy for Freedom of Religion, Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, the International Commission for Freedom of Conscience and the International Religious Liberty Association.
