BYU to host Easter Conference March 29 in JSB auditorium

The 2013 Brigham Young University Easter Conference will begin Friday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium on the south end of the BYU campus.

Admission is free, and free parking is available in Y parking lots after 4 p.m. and in the visitor parking lots.

Elder John M. Madsen, an emeritus member of the Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be the keynote speaker. Also speaking will be Brent L. Top and Brad Wilcox, professors at BYU and former mission presidents for the Church. Both are popular speakers, and both have authored books about the Savior. 

The conference topic will be the Savior, His life, His mission, the Atonement and His influence in our lives today.

"Attending the BYU Easter Conference is an ideal way to prepare for and to celebrate the Easter season," said Brent Nordgren, production supervisor for the BYU Religious Studies Center."We invite you to bring your family, a date, a friend or your LDS ward."

A book, "With Healing in His Wings," has been published that includes the presentation from this year’s and last year’s conferences.
