BYU Honors String Quartet in recital Jan. 12

The Brigham Young University School of Music's newly formed Honors String Quartet will perform in concert Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The string ensemble will perform Three Divertimenti for String Quartet by Benjamin Britten, the String Quartet in C Major, K. 465, "Dissonance" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the String Quartet in G Minor op. 10 by Claude Debussy.

Members of the quartet include Benjamin Chan and Kate Homer playing the violin, Leslie Richards playing the viola and Scott Thomas Lesser playing the violoncello.
