BYU Honors Program Symposium sponsors activities April 13-14

With the theme “Go Forth to Serve Building the World Community,” the Honors Program at Brigham Young University will host the annual Honors Program Symposium Thursday and Friday, April 13-14, from 6-9 p.m.

The event will begin with a service project making beanies and picture books for LDS Humanitarian Services Thursday in the Wilkinson Student Center Garden Court. Admission is free and all are invited to participate.

The symposium will continue Friday with a banquet and break-out sessions in the Museum of Art, with keynote speaker Judge Thomas Griffith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and former General Counsel at BYU. Tickets for the banquet are available at the WSC Information Desk for $7.

The symposium was established to allow students to get a better understanding of the Honors Program and its mission.

For more information, contact the Honors Program Office at (801) 422-5497 or Matt Daley at (209) 662-4674.
