The Brigham Young University Harp Ensemble will perform its winter solo and ensemble concert Saturday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.
This performance, sponsored by the BYU School of Music, is free and the public is welcome to attend.
This concert is a showcase of what the students have been practicing throughout the year, said director ShruDeLi Ownbey.
They will perform Jesu, Joy of Mans Desiring by J.S. Bach as well as Selections from Porgy and Bess Suite by George Gershwin.
The student harpists, with representatives from many majors across campus, have been enrolled in harp classes for the past year at BYU.
