Thursday, Nov. 1

“The BYU Blast!”, a performance by award-winning student ensembles and faculty artists, will be presented in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 or $10 with a BYU or student ID and can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office, by calling (801) 422-4322 or by visiting performances.byu.edu.

Friday, Nov. 2

A faculty performance by Scott Holden, piano, and guest vocalist Ruth Ellis, soprano, will be presented in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Friday, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 3

The BYU Men's Chorus and Women's Chorus will present a concert in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 or $7 with a BYU or student ID and can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office, by calling (801) 422-4322 or by visiting performances.byu.edu.

Friday, Nov. 2, through Saturday, Nov. 17

BYU’s Department of Theatre and Media Arts will present “The Seagull” in the Margetts Theatre, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee on Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. There will be no performances Sundays or Mondays. Tickets are $14 or $9 weeknights and $10 weekends with a BYU or student ID. For dress rehearsals and the matinee, all seats will be $5. Saturday, Nov. 3

A Brass Chamber Night music showcase will be held in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, call (801) 422-4322.

BYU will host guest artists the Guarneri String Quartet in concert in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 or $4 with a BYU or student ID and can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office by calling (801) 422-4322 or by visiting performances.byu.edu.

Friday, Nov. 9, and Saturday, Nov. 10

The BYU Singers and Concert Choir and Philharmonic Orchestra will present a concert in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will include performances of “Crown Imperial March,” “Coronation Te Deum” and “Belshazzar's Feast.” Tickets are $10 or $7 with a BYU or student ID and can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office, by calling (801) 422-4322 or by visiting performances.byu.edu.

The 2007 BYU DanceSport Championships, one of the nation's largest amateur ballroom dance competitions, will take place in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom. For times and ticket information, contact the Fine Arts Ticket Office at (801) 422-4322 or visit byudancesport.com.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

The Cougar Marching Band will give a special performance in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Jeffrey Shumway will present a faculty piano recital in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

BYU welcomes the Utah Symphony with guest conductor David Cho to the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. They will perform Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 in G minor. Tickets are $15, $8 for studentsadn $10 for seniors and BYU faculty and staff can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office by calling (801) 422-4322 or by visiting performances.byu.edu.

Wednesday, Nov. 14, through Saturday, Dec. 8

BYU’s Department of Theatre and Media Arts will present “Little Women” in the Pardoe Theatre, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee on Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. There will be no performances Sundays or Mondays or during the week of Thanksgiving. BYU’s Jazz Voices and Vocal Jazz will present a concert in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Saturday, Nov. 17

BYU’s Concert Choir, Philharmonic Orchestra and the BYU Singers will present a special performance in connection with the College Music Society National Conference and National Association of Schools of Music Annual Conference at the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. The BYU Jazz Ensemble will present a concert in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

James Stevens will direct BYU's nationally acclaimed a cappella ensemble Vocal Point in a concert at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center.
