A faculty performance by Scott Holden, piano, and guest vocalist Ruth Ellis, soprano, will be presented in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

BYU’s Department of Theatre and Media Arts will present “The Seagull” in the Margetts Theatre, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee on Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. There will be no performances Sundays or Mondays. Tickets are $14 or $9 weeknights and $10 weekends with a BYU or student ID. For dress rehearsals and the matinee, all seats will be $5. BYU welcomes the Utah Symphony with guest conductor David Cho to the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. They will perform Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 in G minor.
