BYU Dance Department featured at Oct. 5 assembly

Brigham Young University Department of Dance's performing groups will perform in the assembly at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, in the Marriott Center.

The assembly will not be broadcast.

The performing groups include the Cougarettes, International Folk Dance Ensemble, Dancers' Company, Ballroom Dance Company and Theatre Ballet. The performing groups will each perform one of their favorite pieces from their repertoire.

The theme for this year's dance assembly is "A Time to Dance."

BYUSA President France Nielson will open the assembly with a short speech.
