BYU Cougarettes to perform Feb. 20-22 at Provo's Covey Center

Brigham Young University’s Cougarettes will present their annual concert Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 20-22, at 7:30 p.m., at the Covey Center for the Arts. A matinee performance will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15, $3 off for students and seniors, and can be purchased at the Covey Center Ticket Office at 425 W. Center Street in Provo, online at coveycenter.org or by calling (801) 852-7007.

The performances will feature a variety of dance genres aimed to entertain, uplift and inspire. This year’s production includes choreography from some of the nation’s finest choreographers and allows the Cougarettes to step out of the athletic venues and onto the stage where they will demonstrate their technical prowess and artistry.

Organized in 1946, the Cougarettes are now a part of BYU Athletics and have become a part of the newly organized Spirit Squad with the Cheer Squad and Cosmo.

The Cougarettes have been recognized as one of the top collegiate dance teams in the nation, holding 12 College Dance Team National Titles. They are the dual national champions, winning both the Open Dance Division and the Hip Hop Division for the third year in a row.
