BYU Clarinet Choir presents recital Dec. 4

The Brigham Young University School of Music's Clarinet Choir will perform under the direction of Jaren Hinckley Saturday, Dec. 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert includes an "Entrata for 'Forest Scenes'" by Robert Schumann, "Concertante" by Anton Krause, "Seasonal Sketches" by Everett Gates and a "Holiday Suite" arranged by Hinckley.

"Our concert is intended to be a fun diversion for the audience," Hinckley said.

The Clarinet Choir is consists of students who love to play the clarinet and are mostly non-music majors.

Members of the clarinet choir include Daniel Bailey, Ariel Wootan, Shannon Epps, Rob Bennion, Stephanie Allred, Michael Walsh, Kjirstin Sheard, Devin Dyer, Kaela Fulcher, Karen Reece, Corey Hansen, Amanda Cahoon, James Tippets, Kirsti Burr and Alan Willburn.
