BYU cello students combine for recital Jan. 31

“Cello! An Evening of Solos and Ensembles,” hosted by the Brigham Young University School of Music, will feature the BYU Cello Ensemble performing Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Handel’s “La Paix” and Metallica’s “Unforgiven,” all in the same concert. The show will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Madsen Recital Hall.

The concert will also feature student solos, including Bach’s Prelude from the Suite in C Major and Haydn’s Moderato from the Concerto in C Major.

BYU’s Cello Ensemble includes Seth Castleton, Jennifer Chandler, Andrew Clement, Rachel Harlos, Scott Lesser, Kristen LeSueur, Natachia Li, Jeanee Maucotel, Rachel NeSmirth, Erica Page, Dallin Peacock, Robert Willes and Christina Zmolek.
