Discover just how fun—and tasty—chemistry can be at the National Chemistry Week events on BYU campus this week, Oct. 20-25.
This year’s theme, “The Sweet Side of Chemistry—Candy,” showcases the chemistry involved in confection and candy making through a variety of activities suited to students, adults and children, sponsored by the Central Utah Section of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Activities will include chemical magic shows, a hands-on workshop for kids, a symposium hosted by the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and a research poster session with reception.
