Inspiring quotes from 2025 Women’s Conference

BYU Women’s Conference is the largest three-day gathering of Latter-day Saint women anywhere in the world. Numerous presenters share their perspectives and insights on a variety of topics, including womanhood and sisterhood, gospel principles, marriage, family and practical and timely topics of interest and concern to women of all ages. The theme for this year's Women's Conference came from Moses 6:34 “Behold my Spirit is upon you ... and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.”

This year, the conference was held on campus from April 30-May 2. Here’s a collection of quotes from several sessions by BYU employees as well as leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

“Letting God prevail is the essence of humility ... It is a sacred choice to place our trust in God and not in man ... Letting God prevail in our lives enables us to walk with Him and learn from Him.”

Elder Quentin L. Cook
“Mothers and fathers praying with children may be more important than any other example. The message, ministry and Atonement of Jesus Christ is our essential curriculum.”

Defending our Divinely Inspired Constitution in the Home

“The greatest contribution that we can make is to raise up a virtuous posterity — to raise up a Christ-like generation that understands inspired principles: their devotion would be to the enduring principles, not to any particular party or program, but to the inspired principles of the U.S. Constitution.”

Rebecca Walker Clarke
Forgive One Another as I Have Forgiven You

“The prodigal son knew the only person who could save him was his father. We see in the parable how the father responds to his imperfect child. There are no lectures. There is no delay of his love and forgiveness. All the son had to do to receive forgiveness and love was to turn away from his sins and weak desires and turn to his father.”

Jared Halverson
Staying Faithful Through the Storms of Life

“This is what we signed up for! We shouted for joy when the plan was presented to us [in the premortal life], even at the hard parts of it.”
