BYU Broadway hopefuls will strut their stuff in concerts April 3-4

Brigham Young University music/dance/theatre majors heading to New York City after graduation will showcase their artistic talent in performances on Thursday and Friday, April 3-4, at 7 and 9:30 p.m. in the Nelke Theatre.

Tickets are $10 or $7 with a BYU or student ID. To purchase tickets, call the Fine Arts Ticket Office at (801) 422-4322 or purchase online at artstix.byu.edu.

Students will showcase solos and monologues they hope will help them win auditions for highly coveted roles on the stages of New York City. More than 25 BYU music/dance/theatre graduates have gone on to perform on New York City’s Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours for shows including “Les Miserables,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Mamma Mia” and “Cats.”

For more information, call Tim Threlfall, (801) 422-8133.
