BYU Broadcasting launches "True Blue" sports magazine program Sept. 12

BYU Broadcasting is launching an all-new, weekly sports television show airing Wednesday nights on BYU Television at 6 and 9 p.m. and on KBYU-TV Thursdays at 10 p.m.

Holly Rowe, a well-known ESPN field reporter, will host “True Blue,” which promises to provide a deeper look into the world of BYU sports through weekly highlights and features.

Throughout the football season, “True Blue” will provide weekly updates and highlights on the Cougars, including regular interviews with Bronco Mendenhall. The show will also go beyond football and offer fans coverage on many BYU sporting events and campus activities, including volleyball, soccer, gymnastics and other sports often forgotten by larger networks. The new show aims to give fans a larger share of the BYU game experience.

This week (Sept. 12), “True Blue” will bring viewers highlights from the BYU vs. UCLA game and will explore what fans can expect from BYU’s first-year quarterback, Max Hall. The show will also introduce BYU’s championship-winning lacrosse team, and Rowe will host coach Jason Lamb, who will discuss the team’s national championship.
