BYU Bookstore hosts textbook Sell-Back Dec. 13-20

The Brigham Young University Bookstore will kick off the end-of-semester textbook Sell-back Saturday, Dec. 13 with a “Sell-Abration” at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the third floor of the Bookstore in the Wilkinson Student Center.

At the Sell-Back “Sell-Abration,” students will receive free candy bars, and some will win prizes ranging from large candy bars to iPods to a trip to the “Money Machine” for cash.

Students can sell their textbooks back through Saturday, Dec. 20. The Bookstore will be open weekdays from 7:50 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The BYU Bookstore will purchase only the number of books needed in future semesters. If books cannot be purchased for future use at BYU, book wholesalers will also purchase books at Sell-Back.

“Members of the BYU faculty do a great job of turning in their textbooks requests early, so we can buy back more used books that other universities,” said Tom Hirtzel, BYU Bookstore Textbook Manager. “The Bookstore is here to serve the campus community, and we like to do what we can to help the students save money on textbooks.”

For more information, contact the BYU Bookstore at (801) 422-2400.
