Business professor at Kennedy Center forum

Robert G. Crawford, associate professor of business management at Brigham Young University, will speak on "Entrepreneurship as Ethics: Implications for Policy" at the International Forum Series, Wednesday, Feb. 11, at noon in 238 Herald R. Clark Building.

Crawford’s professional focus on economics and ethics has led him to conduct research on and specialize in economic obsolescence, special purpose property value, self and self-interest, and valuation theory.

The author of various publications, Crawford’s recent works include "Appraising Industrial Special-Purpose Property," which appeared in The Appraisal Journal (2001) and "Unsettling the Metaphysics of NeoClassical Micro-Economic and Management Thinking," published in the International Journal of Public Administration (1998).

From 1984 to 1990, Crawford served as the chair of BYU’s Managerial Economics department. During a portion of this appointment, he also worked as the acting director of the Smith Center for Free Enterprise Studies at BYU.

The International Forum Series is sponsored by the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies. For more information, see http://kennedy.byu.edu
