Annual "eviDance" to spotlight BYU touring dance groups Sept. 18-21

The top ensembles from Brigham Young University's Department of Dance will present “eviDANCE” Wednesday through Saturday, Sept. 18-21, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall. There will also be a matinee performance Saturday at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office, (801) 422-2981 or byuarts.com/tickets. Prices range from $8 to $15 depending on seat location and performance date and time. Wednesday’s performance is a preview with all seats available for $8.

Formerly known as “World of Dance,” "eviDANCE" will bring together BYU’s five celebrated dance companies for a thrilling night of performances from every dance genre.

The crew for “eviDANCE” includes Curt Holman, artistic director; Hannah Richardson, production stage manager; Benjamin Sanders, production manager and lighting designer; Mark Ohran, technical director; and Marilyn Barret, Department of Dance chair.

BYU team helps create diagnostic tool that achieves accuracy of PCR tests with faster, simpler nanopore system
