40th Annual Family History and Genealogy Conference at BYU July 29-Aug. 1

Brigham Young University will host the 40th annual Family History and Genealogy Conference Tuesday through Friday, July 29-Aug. 1, at the BYU Conference Center.

The conference, “Strengthening Ties that Bind Families Together Forever,” will feature more than 120 classes focusing on beginning family history, computer research, U.S. research, German research, methodology, journals and Family History Center support.

Keynote speakers at the conference include President Merrill J. Bateman, former BYU president and current president of the Provo Temple; Don Anderson, Family History Department Division Director of the Church; and Paul Allen, CEO of FamilyLink.com, Inc.

The cost of registration is $175 for noncredit participation and $322 for credit participation. Attendees who choose to register for credit will earn two credits of History 481R (Family History Directed Research).
