15th annual OPAC conference, "Joy in the Journey," to be March 14-16

Online registration available until March 1

The Brigham Young University Office Professionals Advisory Committee and Human Resources Services will host the 15th Annual Office Professionals Conference Wednesday through Friday, March 14-16, in the Wilkinson Student Center.

Participants may register online at byu.edu/hr/opac/registration until March 1.

The theme of this year’s conference will be “Joy in the Journey.” LDS speaker and BYU family life professor Brad Wilcox will present the keynote address, followed by general sessions featuring Dale and Nancy Murphy and associate academic vice president Newell Dayley. Additional breakout sessions will take place each day, which will provide opportunities for office professionals to bring new ideas to their departments and appreciate excellence on all levels of office support.

Additionally, the BYU Ballroom Dance Company and Michael Cottam (“Magic Mike”) will perform during brown-bag luncheons on Thursday and Friday. “Pickin’ on Molly” will be the entertainment for a catered lunch on Friday.

OPAC advises the assistant administrative vice president for Human Resource Services. The committee strives to promote excellence by providing opportunities for networking, recognition and exchange of ideas.
