Name: Lisa Valentine Clark
BYU employee since… 2018
My job at BYU is… radio host of “The Lisa Show” on BYUradio.
I’m currently working on… creating engaging, fun, interesting and inspiring content and conversations for "The Lisa Show" every morning, M–F on BYUradio, the BYUradio app and Sirius XM 143.
I’m currently reading… four different books because there are too many good things to read.

I get most excited about my work when… I get to share interesting conversations with incredible people who are passionate about what they do and what they know.
My advice to incoming freshmen is… you’ll remember the relationships you make in college more than the classes.
My most cherished memory at BYU is… performing with the Garrens Comedy Troupe back in the day with incredible people.
On Saturday mornings you’ll find me… going for a run and making a detailed list of cleaning jobs for my kids to do around the house.
My go-to comfort food is… chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
Three things that are always found in my refrigerator are… parmesan, colby jack and brie.
You’ll never find me without… lipstick and an opinion.
The title of my autobiography would be… "It Wasn’t Funny at the Time."
My favorite quote is… “Serve God, love me and mend.” Shakespeare in "Much Ado About Nothing."
The biggest challenge I’ve faced was... grieving the loss of my husband, who died due to a cruel terminal disease during an isolating global pandemic while raising five children. That, and when Taco Bell discontinued the Mexican pizza.
