My job at BYU is… director of Aspen Grove – BYU’s Family Camp and Conferencing Center.
My most cherished memory at BYU is… meeting my wife our freshman year. We celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this year!
The best-kept BYU secret is… Aspen Grove! It is BYU’s best-kept secret because my experience is that many students, employees and alumni have never visited or perhaps even heard of Aspen Grove. Many who have heard of Aspen Grove don’t know what it is, or how they might experience it.
My most embarrassing moment was when… attending my wife’s large family reunion I asked her cousin if she was pregnant… IT DIDN’T GO WELL!
I’ve hiked Y Mountain... zero times. Why hike Y Mountain when you have Mount Timpanogos in your backyard?
My favorite quote is… “One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”
My favorite spot on campus is… off campus because it’s Aspen Grove!
If I could travel anywhere, I would go to... Tahiti, because it’s French-speaking and tropical. I served my mission in Geneva, Switzerland.
When I have 30 minutes of free time, you can find me… walking the grounds of Aspen Grove, visiting with the staff and guests.
