My job at BYU is… senior associate athletic director; helping oversee 21 NCAA-sponsored athletic teams and many of the internal operations of the athletic department.
When I have 30 minutes of free time, you can find me… wasting it by overthinking the best way to use it.
I am currently reading... “Called to Teach: The Legacy of Karl G. Maeser” by A. LeGrand Richards.
I chose to come to BYU because... it allows me to combine my love for higher education, my love for athletics and my love for the gospel of Jesus Christ in really meaningful ways. I believe wholeheartedly in the unique mission of BYU and feel it a great privilege to be a part of the campus community.
On Saturday mornings you’ll find me… working on my dissertation, cheering on a niece or nephew, or playing pickleball with friends. All of these things are even better if I’m doing them at Bear Lake.
One item on my bucket list is… to attend The Oberammergau Passion Play in Germany. (I have tickets for summer 2022.)
I’m currently working on… keeping up with our 630 student-athletes and how we can continuously adapt and improve our services and support to help them thrive athletically, academically, socially and spiritually.
My advice to graduating seniors is… to learn how to build bridges of understanding as you stand as a willing witness of Jesus Christ and His restored Church.
