BYU full-time employee since… 2018 (I've been a part-time employee/adjunct professor since 2004).
My current job at BYU is… faculty member in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
I’m currently working on… applications of machine learning to underwater acoustics.
My favorite discussion to lead is… how addressing the concerns of women students in STEM helps all students (similar to this conference proceedings paper).
My advice to incoming freshmen is… you belong here! If you work hard and attend class, things will be OK.
My advice to graduating seniors is… the Lord is counting on you to do your best, share His love and build His kingdom.
I’m most looking forward to… an in-person fall semester!
