Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" at BYU Chamber Orchestra concert Dec. 9

The Brigham Young University Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Kory Katseanes, will present a concert Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center.

Tickets are $11, or $8 with a BYU or student ID. To purchase tickets, call the Fine Arts Ticket Office at (801) 422-4322 or visit byuarts.com.

The Chamber Orchestra will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s classic “Four Seasons.” The orchestra will present music portraying all four seasons, including a different violin soloist for each of the 11 movements.

The program will also feature Frederick Delius’ “The First Cuckoo in Spring,” an English nature piece. The concert will conclude with Franz Joseph Hayden’s Symphony, No. 94, also known as the “Surprise” Symphony.
