Trumpet Chamber Night at BYU Feb. 3

Twelve students from Brigham Young University’s School of Music will perform brass instrumental music during the Trumpet Chamber Night Thursday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the University Parkway Center.

The performance is free, and everyone is welcome to attend. The University Parkway Center is located on the northeast corner of University Parkway and University Avenue, just west of LaVell Edwards Stadium. Please note that this performance was previously scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 10, in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Directed by associate professor David Brown and accompanied by Mariah Wilson, Jayne Galloway and Ammon Doman on the piano, the trumpeters will play “Hallelujah” from Handel’s “Messiah,” Erik Morales’ “Path of Discovery” and “Metallic Fury” and Jimmy Giuffre’s “Four Brothers,” among other selections.

Members of BYU’s Trumpet Chamber Ensemble include Kris Anderson, Ali Atkinson, Brett Belingheri, Bryce Call, Charlie Carr, Josh Coffey, Brandt Jensen, Austie Robinson, Rinda Romney, Beth Sawyer, Spencer Wallin and Jessica White.
