Troy W. Carlton, a faculty member in the College of Nursing at Brigham Young University, will speak Tuesday, July 12, at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall for a campus devotional.

Carlton received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in nursing from BYU. He is currently working on his dissertation for the doctoral program at the University of Colorado.
Prior to his responsibilities at BYU, Carlton worked for 22 years as a staff nurse for Intermountain Health Care. He has also served in various positions in professional nursing organizations within the state of Utah.
His research interests include patient outcomes and nursing values.
