Time to order poinsettias, make room for Christmas trees

It’s time for campus departments to look ahead and plan for the holidays!

Poinsettias will be available for on-campus use during the holiday season. Red, white or pink poinsettias are $7 each and come in six-inch pots.

To order a poinsettia, print out a Physical Facilities Poinsettia Work Request form at plantwo.byu.edu/pform.htm. Please specify the number and color of poinsettias desired.

Orders for poinsettias must be received by Nov. 2. Submit the order by fax to 2-0271 or by campus mail to BYU Grounds Office/PPGO. Poinsettias will be delivered the week of Nov. 30. Contact Tegwyn at ext. 2-5509 to confirm your order within two days of ordering.

PLEASE NOTE: Poinsettia orders received after Nov. 2 will be subject to an increased cost.

If your office has a Christmas tree and has not moved offices during the year, your tree will be delivered to you with no action necessary on your part. If your office has a tree in storage but have moved offices since last year, call the Grounds Office at ext. 2-5510 to provide a new address.

If your office needs a new tree, please call Sprinkler World at  (801) 794-6415 and ask for Tyler Bushman, who will make arrangements with you to buy a tree with your department P-card. If you have additional questions, contact Terry Hatch in Purchasing at ext. 2-7001.

The Grounds Office will begin delivering trees on Monday, Nov. 15. Please order any new trees or make certain your address information is correct before that date to ensure proper delivery. In addition, please clear the space in your office where you would like your tree assembled. After Nov. 27, call (801) 592-1340 for late tree set-up.
