Students welcomed to new Hinckley Alumni and Visitors Center

All students are invited to visit the new Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni and Visitors Center Sept. 5-7 and see a building that broke ground on the prophet’s 96th birthday and was dedicated only a year later on the same date.

Tours will be available every half hour between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily. In addition to viewing the 83,000-square-foot building, students will see many personal items donated by President Hinckley.

Enjoy a free student root beer social Thursday, Sept. 6 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. and be entertained by Lukrative, Laugh Out Loud and the national award-winning group, Noteworthy.

More than 70,000 alumni, friends and students donated to the building.
