Student Utah Chamber of Brass will peform Feb. 16 at BYU

The Utah Chamber of Brass, a five-student ensemble under the direction of Will Kimball, will perform Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Brigham Young University's Madsen Recital Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert will start out with "A Western Fanfare" by Eric Ewazen. Other pieces in the concert include "Jesus, The Very Thought of Thee" by John Dykes, "Music for Brass Instruments" by Ingolf Dahl and "Morgenmusik" by Paul Hindemith.

Students participating in the concert include trumpeters Jason Bergman and Randy Lee, trombonist Adam Bean, bass trombonist Dan Barrett and Rob Davis playing the horn.
