Student instrumentalists celebrated in "Evening of Concertos"

Award-winning instrumentalists will perform in the annual Brigham Young University "Evening of Concertos" with conductor Kory Katseanes and the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra Tuesday (March 25) at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets at $9 for the general public or $3 off with a BYU or student ID are available at the Fine Arts Ticket Office, (801) 378-4322 or www.byu.edu/hfac.

"Evening of Concertos" will feature Seretta Hart on the trumpet, Brett Pimental on the saxophone, Kristen LaRiviere on the violin, Michelle Pettit on the viola, Darren Bastian on the marimba, Matthew Oshida on the violin and Daniel Gledhill on the piano.

BYU landscaping students dig their way to 10th national championship

BYU’s landscaping team is the best in the field, literally. While most national championships are won on the court or the gridiron, this one was claimed with pruned shrubs, expertly placed pavers, and top-tier irrigation systems.
