Stephen Bahr to present BYU devotional March 3

Stephen Bahr, associate dean of the Brigham Young University College of Family Home and Social Sciences, will speak at a university devotional Tuesday, March 3, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

The devotional will be broadcast live on the BYU Broadcasting channels. Visit byub.org/devotionals or speeches.byu.edu for rebroadcast and archive information.

As a professor of sociology, Bahr has focused his research and teaching on prisoner reentry, adolescent drug use, and divorce and remarriage.

Previously, he taught at the University of Texas at Austin, and for one year he was a professional fellow at the Bush Institute for Child and Family Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from BYU and his doctorate in sociology from Washington State University.
