“Silent Killer: The Unfinished Campaign Against Hunger” shown at BYU Oct. 19

“Silent Killer: The Unfinished Campaign Against Hunger” will be shown at noon in 1161 Joseph F. Smith Building on Thursday, Oct. 19, as part of the Women’s Research Institute’s Women’s Studies Film Series at Brigham Young University.

Hunger kills 15,000 children each day. This hour-long documentary was shot in South Africa, Kenya, Mexico, Rome and the United States, and portrays the problem and solutions in the effort to end hunger.

The movie was produced by Hana Jindrova and John de Graaf and narrated by National Public Radio’s Scott Simon.
