Sharon Samuelson to address BYU Women Sept. 13

Sharon Samuelson, wife of Brigham Young University President Cecil O. Samuelson, will speak at BYU Women's first meeting of the new school year Saturday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. in the Alumni House on the BYU campus.

Sister Samuelson will address the organization's theme for the year, taken from Revelation 3:8: "I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it."

"We're most excited about her coming," said Marilyn Barrus, BYU Women president. "We're eager to help her feel the excitement the whole community has for her coming."

BYU Women is an organization for all full-time women employees at BYU or the spouses of BYU employees. The organization meets monthly to provide intellectual and social opportunities for its members and to promote the ideals of BYU.

Monthly meetings include a featured speaker and musical numbers arranged by organization members. A $10 annual fee is required for membership. For more information, contact Marilyn Barrus at (801) 374-6610.
