Sen. Orrin Hatch to visit BYU Bookstore Oct. 12

The Brigham Young University Bookstore will welcome Utah Senator Orrin Hatch Thursday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. as part of the Bookstore’s 100-Year Celebration.

Bookstore representatives will present the senator with a special gift at the northeast entrance of the bookstore.

The BYU Bookstore is celebrating 100 years of service by hosting a celebration to thank customers for their service. Sen. Hatch will recognize the bookstore for this significant milestone.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
