The Savior focus of annual BYU Easter Conference April 7

Brigham Young University Religious Education and the Religious Studies Center will host BYU's annual Easter Conference Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium (room 140) on the south end of the BYU campus.

Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.

The speakers, Elder Gary J. Coleman, emeritus member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Andrew C. Skinner and Gaye Strathearn, will talk about the Savior, His life, His mission, the Atonement and His influence in our lives today. The conference will also feature special vocal and instrumental presentations.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
