Refworks software at Lee Library can help students writing term papers

Brigham Young University students writing term papers can more easily create bibliographies and organize research citations with a new software program provided by the Harold B. Lee Library.

RefWorks (www.refworks.com/refworks) bibliography manager will quickly and automatically format citations, endnotes and footnotes and create a bibliography in the desired writing style, including APA, MLA and Turabian. In addition, other Web-based bibliography formats can be transferred to RefWorks for reformatting and then transferred back to the original style.

To complete papers on time, students can access RefWorks through the Lee Library’s Web site from on or off campus using Route Y.

This semester the Lee Library is offering free introductory training for students and faculty during the weekdays of Nov. 10-17 at various times. For more information, visit the library’s Web site at www.library.byu.edu or contact Jeff Belliston at (801) 422-7743.
