Panoramic Steel, Percussion Ensemble plan Dec. 1 concert

The Brigham Young University Panoramic Steel and Percussion Ensemble, both under the direction of Ron Brough, will present a special performance Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Admission will be $9 or $6 with a student or BYU ID. Tickets can be purchased from the Fine Arts Ticket Office, by calling (801) 422-7664 or by visiting performances.byu.edu.

The Percussion Ensemble will provide live accompaniment to the 1906 silent film “The Invisible Men” by Pathe Freres. The story follows a wizard and his partner who create a potion that makes them invisible, resulting in adventures and mishaps galore.

Panoramic Steel will perform a set with BYU School of Music faculty saxophonist Ray Smith.

For more information, contact Ron Brough at (801) 422-3320.
