Orpheus Winds to present "Evening of Mozart" Feb. 28

Brigham Young University faculty performing ensemble Orpheus Winds will perform two works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in a free recital titled “An Evening of Mozart” Thursday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

The quartet features Geralyn Giovannetti on oboe, Jaren Hinckley on clarinet, Laurence Lowe on French horn and Christian Smith on bassoon.

Members of the BYU Honors Wind Quintet will join the group to create an octet featuring two of each instrument for a performance of the Serenade No. 12. Following a short intermission, the concert will finish with the Quintet in E flat Major, featuring faculty guest artist Irene Peery-Fox, piano.
