ORCA applications due Oct. 30

The BYU Office of Research and Creative Activities reminds students that ORCA grant applications are due Friday, Oct. 30, before midnight.

ORCA offers $1,500 grants to help undergraduate students work with faculty in a one-on-one setting to conduct research, field studies, or create unique projects in their discipline.

Students may either design their own project or work on a professor’s ongoing research. Some approach faculty with their own ideas while others receive ORCA grants for work they are already doing as a research or teaching assistant. All ORCA students must work with a mentor.
